I’m killing myself with wallpaper projects. I go for days to months without doing a single one and then I’m all of a sudden vexeling over 6 images. LOL I have two more wallpaper in progress. These wallpapers are retro style and one of them is for a valentines day contest that I don’t plan to win but just felt like joining. LOL

This is the Red Garden wallpaper. I thought it was about time I make a graphic for this series since we cosplayed as them. Thing ism I didn’t feel like redrawing the original image so I just cleaned it up. The background has a little more work to do, such as working more on the buildings. I think it is heading in the right direction though.

This is the contest wallpaper featuring Yuuri and Wolfrma from Kyou Kara Maou. I don’t know why Yuuri keeps denying how he doesn’t like boys, he sure looks like he does in this image. XD Anyway, another retro look with pastel colors. I did redraw them this time because the image quality was really bad, Wolfram’s hair was a pain in the butt. This is what I have so far but I might not change more more to it because I submit. xD

So that makes… 5 wallpapers that I’m still working on. I’m just crazy!

This is my Oofuri wallpaper. I plan to paint this wallpaper so it still has a lot of work to go. I like the way the mound turned out so I hope the rest of the background can turn out well. I’m the most afraid of digitaly painting Mihashi. This will be the first time I digital paint a wallpaper so I’m going to take my sweet time. It will be a lot of trail and error I’m sure. Doing the vexel of this wallpaper made me want to cry. Mihashi was very blurry in some parts, especially his shoes and gloves. I had to wing it and recreate what I could. I was told they look pretty good but I’m hoping they look even better when painted.

This is my Durarara!! wallpaper. I really wanted to make one of Izaya for some reason. I guess I decided he was my favorite character. This wallpaper won’t be as challenging as the Oofuri one but it did take some of my own skills. The image I used was cut off on the right so I had to make up a lot of it on my own. I liked the weird way the shadows and lines were done so I tried my best to copy it. This wallpaper might be near done but I’m going to play with it a little more. I might even have two version of this one in case some people like the simple look.

I’m really working hard on improving my wallpaper skills. Wish me luck!

Anyway, the Red Garden cosplay was a lot of fun but the next thing on the list is something just for me and my sister. We plan to do two witches from the series Umineko no Naku Koro Ni. I would be the former endless witch, Virgilia, and my sister would be the present endless witch, Beatrice. xD The outfits are just awesome so I’m sure it will be fun.

I already have the wigs. Click below to see. I’m going to wearing the light purple or white wig, whatever you want to call it. They did an awesome job with the Blonde with though. I could never have done something so awesome on my own. 0_0

Dance In The Vampire Bund
Mina Tepes, the Princess of the ancient covenant and ruler of all vampires, wants her race to stop hiding from the humans. Using her vast wealth, she has paid off Japan’s entire national debt and, by doing so, gained the right to create an own district off Japan’s coast that is to become the future heaven to vampires worldwide. But on the eve of the press conference announcing the existence of vampires to the world, terrorists and rival factions are plotting to assassinate Mina Tepes before she has a chance to make her world-changing announcement.
– This first episode of this was not really what I thought it was going to be when I first heard about this series. It’s a little more silly and random, but I’m still interested in how it will go. I think it will be interesting to see how the humans handle the existence of vampires. I guess this series is a lot more pervy loli than I was expecting, but I can get over that as long as the story is actually good. xD

So-Ra-No-Wo-To
After a cease-fire during a long war. A second-class Bugler soldier, Kanata Sorami, is reasigned to her new outpost to a stronghold Fortress in the little city of Seize, where other female soldiers reside to serve in a multi purpose task, 1st: maintain the fortress, 2nd: contribute to the traditions of the city since all are young females and the folklore tales that the young maidens keept a demon under control, and 3rd: also to be prepared in case of a non probable attack due to the isolation of the city.
– The characters look like K-on ,but this is nothing like K-on. I’m actually interesting in it but it might not last. Sometimes I like these moe series but most of them time I find them pretty boring. I do love trumpets though.

Durarara!!
Ryuugamine Mikado is a boy who longs for the exciting life of the big city. At the invitation of his childhood friend Masaomi, he transfers to a school in Ikebukuro. Masaomi has warned him about people he doesn’t want to cross in the city: a champion fighter, an informant, and a mysterious gang called “Darazu.” Nervous from Masaomi’s stories, Mikado witnesses an urban legend on his first day in the city, the Headless Rider astride a black motorcycle. From then on, the existence of supernatural cases and a gang called the Yellow Turbans will rise to the surface, and Ikebukuro will pushed to the breaking point.
– The series comes from light novels series that was done by the same guy who did Baccano! So I’m looking forward to it. I’m hoping I will love this one as much as Baccano! The first episode was a little slow but Baccano! was the same way so I’m not too worried.

Ookami Kakushi
Hiro has moved with his father and lame sister Mana in new city and at once he was hugged by a girl, who introduced herself as Tsumuhana Isuzu. She said she fall in love with him at first sight. But it seems, Isuzu is not ordinary human girl… It starts to happen something strange. Kushinada Nemuru, a mysterious classmate is probably hiding something.
– A series that give you a bit of a Higurashi vibe. It does have it’s major differences though. However, I’m actually hoping this one meets my expectations. I have no idea why I like these type of animes. I really wish Umineko could have been done well. I didn’t get the chance to finish the whole first episode because I got sleepy but once I can finish it I will have more of an idea if I will like this or not.

Nodame Cantabile Finale
The love & music story continues between Noda Megumi, the talented yet distracted (almost childish) piano player, and Chiaki Shinichi, the prodigious, always focused on advancing forward, orchesta director. How love will finally find its way for this two persons. Will it be able to surpass the challenges ahead or will it die prematurely. Paris, the city of light, is the more accurate place to find out how this “love musical” will reach its FINALE.
– I have always enjoyed watching Nodame so it is nice to see the Finale season. I don’t have any huge expectations. I just want something cute and fun like it always has been.

Plot Summary: Strange suicides have been taking place in New York. One day, four girls from the same high school wake up in the morning feeling tired and dizzy and not being able to remember anything about the previous night. In school, they find out that one of their classmates has committed suicide. School is canceled for the rest of the day, but instead of going home, the girls are drawn to a park by butterflies only they can see. Suddenly a man and a woman approach the girls, telling them that they all died the previous night.

The plans for the Dead Girls photo shoot is going well.  (Also known as Red Garden)

We have coordinated two different outfits to take pictures in. One is all of us in Black dresses to look mournful. The other outfits are fun and colorful street clothes. I also bought some fake roses to take pictures with when we are in our black dresses.

I also bought some flower petals and my sister has created some props, she painting some jail signs.  All I have to buy now is a work light and something to use a back drop. I’m thinking a painters drop cloth should work.

It was surprising how many of our own clothes could work for this photo shoot. We just changed things up a bit to make them a little more wild. All I had to do was buy some colorful tights to might the outfits complete. They aren’t exactly like what they wear but it has the style of the show down.

All the wigs came in and they look great. Sorry the pictures look like crap, I was in a hurry. Dx

I have been studying up on the different camera things so that I will understand Exposure, ISO, Shutter Speed, and Aperture. This way I can set my camera for the right settings and make it easier on my mother who doesn’t understand it at all. I wish I could find a friend who likes photography and would like to practice on our cosplay. I have been tempted to join the Photography Club in town but I wonder just how active that club is and what kind of people (age group) is in it. I wouldn’t want to be the only 20 year old with a bunch of 40 year old men. 0_0

I’m have some places in mind for taking these pictures, I hope they work out well. It might be best if I got out searching over the weekend. I want to take more pictures in that place we took the Code Geass pictures, and I want to use the river stage, and the steps at the museum. I would also like to go down to Lake Nasworthy (nickname: nasty water) and use the parks there. That would be the same place as the Orihime cosplay. The last thing is only a maybe and that is to use a really old part of a cemetery during a time when we won’t disturb anyone. It won’t be crazy pictures though, but since they are dead girls it would make sense.

I’m working hard with the plans of this photo shoot. It has been in the planning stages for 2-3 months now and we are finally getting together to do it this week. Woot! Hope it goes well.
