Sub or Dub?

I’m someone who really doesn’t mind either but I really hate it when I only get one option. I have to admit, I’m really annoyed at the companies that are only bringing out some of my favorite anime titles as just subs. I have already seen them in subs! I wouldn’t usually mind (completely) except that the subs they have on these DVDs are of low quality (Typo and misspellings WTF?) and the price for the DVDs are just as high as a DVD that has the option of a dub and sub. Yeah, I don’t think so. You can forget about me buying those. I already bought two like that and I really want to sale them back now because I enjoyed watching the fansubs more. If they are going to do this, they should make the prices cheaper.

Thaaaaaaat’s pretty retarded. I’d be pissed, lol. This is probably why I don’t buy anime. >_<; I actually don't mind either (unless the voice actors are REALLY bad. Like… Vanille from FFXIII bad), but if I'm paying $30 for four episodes, it better come with dubs, subs, and at least 3 languages of subtitles. <.<; (To practice my Japanese & French at the same time!)
Sutaru´s last blog ..It’s May Already!
That’s the sad thing these days. Now those DVDs are much cheaper for all of that. 30 bucks is for like, half of the season these days.. 15 episodes or something like that with dubs, dubs, extras and so on so forth.
They are doing the same thing with just the subs and not extras and making you pay 30 bucks for half the season. I don’t see the perk in that at all Dx
I’d rather read crappy subtitles ridiculed with grammar and spelling errors than listen to a properly translated audio where the voice casts are all off.
I’d rather not buy crappy subtitles for the same price as the box sets that have subs and dubs (because those that have subs and dubs have good subs so I feel it is a rip off) and I really think a lot of the new dubs are really pretty good such as for Baccano anyway. It’s all preference though and what I’m really against is the prices. Not so much that they didn’t dub it.
