I’m way behind on this. In fact, it wouldn’t have taken this long if I wasn’t such an idiot. You see, I was deleting drafts that I didn’t want and I accidentally deleted this one. I was so annoyed at myself but I kept cool. xD

I don’t feel as excited about anime titles this season. I don’t know if it is because I have burn out or if the titles just don’t interest me in the least. I will do my best to try and give everyone that seems halfway decent to my interest, a try but I won’t be surprised if I only end up watching one or two of them.

BTW, this post is going to be like my winter one except I will go ahead and add the manga I’m reading as well. The manga won’t be as long because I’m just going to do the ones that are still on going and hold a big part of my fandom.

And in other news, I’m very disappointed in all the companies for anime and manga distribution are either closing down or downgrading. A lot of my favorites titles have been canceled or postponed. Thankfully, Funimation has been picking up a lot of the slack for Geneon and ADV but there is no one to pick up the slack for Tokoypop.

Tokyopop went from 500 releases to 225. Ouch.

Here is a list of all the titles that are ‘postponed’ but I won’t be surprised if they start getting canceled.

I just don’t understand why they are postponing so many good titles and bringing out so many new and sucky titles. Sigh. This is why my love for buying manga has gone down.

Finished Series

Skip Beat


I think they did a good job with the Skip Beat anime. I also liked how the ended it. Usually I hate when the do anime for series that aren’t even near being done but with Skip Beat they left the ending very open just in case they ever make more. I liked how they did that for the Nana anime as well. Anyway, this anime was a lot of fun to watch even though I knew what was coming because of the manga. The voice actors were perfect for the characters especially Kyoko’s. I always liked Marina Inoue’s voice because of her acting in Minami-ke as Kana. The art was something to get use to but it didn’t take long at all. They also didn’t change much of it except for the more crude things, like when Kyoko’s flips Ren off in the manga… she just gives him a thumbs down in the anime. Oh well.

Zoku Natsume Yuujinchou


This series is just so cute. There isn’t nothing special about it, like I had said about the first season. It just grabs you and you can’t help but smile while watching it. The animation is done really well to so that always is a plus. This season was probably a little more fun than the last one too. This was probably considered my more laid back anime of the season to help get my mind of of things without having to watch something complicated or something crack. Oh yeah, and the opening and ending songs were awesome again, especially the ending.

Minami-ke


OMG I thought I would never get through this. It was so much fun though but the reason I said that was because the 2nd season almost killed it for me. Thank god the art was much better in this season and the funny stuff was better as well. These three sisters are just so cute together and I laugh at how much traffic their house gets with all the visitors. It almost makes me want to read the manga… almost. xD This is my crack series for the season and I wasn’t disappointed.

Toradora


I was really afraid of watching this one at first because of the voice actress for Taiga. I usually hate her because she always plays the same kind of role, a hot headed brat. This time she actually played a decent character who might have still been hot headed but she wasn’t a huge brat. The characters relationships where a lot of fun and some of the characters surprised me in the end. Like, it is an amazing story when it can make me love a character I didn’t like much at first and hate a character I thought was awesome in the beginning. I was not a big fan of her friend with pink hair but I turned out to really like Ami. I suggest you give this one a try if you haven’t already. It might surprised you.

Gundam 00


I had a love-hate relationship for this series. It would get really good and I would get excited but then it would go back to being really bored and then I would be disappointed because of all the excitement in thinking something cool was going to happen. Even the ending was kind of lame in my opinion. I might watch it again once it comes out on dvd but I’m not completely sure. I did like how Setsuna and that stupid princess never got together… really. I hated her so much. Lacus was an evil bitch compared to who holier than thou attitude. I kept praying she would get shot. I liked how that pink hair girl turned out to like Setsuna and how he reach out for the flower she gave him before the ending battle. I will ship them as my canon. *gets shot*

Rideback


This series was pretty exciting and the animation was just beautiful. The only thing it was missing was bishies. The sucky thing about this series is that, just when it was getting really good, it ended. X_X I think this should have been a series longer than just 13 simple episodes. Oh well, I don’t regret watching it and I would still tell people to watch it. I would probably even watch it again if I had the time.

Clannad After Story


I wasn’t going to watch this one. In fact, I didn’t pick it up to watch until I saw an interesting little spoiler about it. I’m glad I found that spoiler because this series was really good. It was much better than the first season in my opinion. I loved the relationships and all the characters were fun. The ending was cheesy and stuff but I was expecting that so it wasn’t hard t swallow when they all got to start over. Kind of made my sadness feel wasted though when I thought they were dead. LOL

Kyou Kara Maou 3


Wow, I can’t believe KKM is no over. I seriously doubt there will be anymore KKM anime now. The third season was okay. I got bored though because, though I didn’t hate Sara, I found him to be boring a lot of the time. I also got bored with the stuff about Yuuri’s brother *don’t kill me jen!*. I had the most fun with the series at the beginning and then the ending was okay. I’m going to miss having KKM to look forward too. I wonder if Funimation will bring out the OVA and 3rd season. It’s seem highly unlikely that will happen any time soon if at all because of all the economic problems and that fact that it was geneon that licensed it and funimation that just finished the redistributing.

Vampire Knight Guilty


Wut… The ending frustrated me. We never got a Zeki kiss. That does it! Who was the one who said the anime was going to be geared more towards Zeki?? I will have to throw rocks at them for getting my hopes up. haha. It was nice to see Yuuki be really cold to Kaname after he told her everything though. She even made him think that she would never follow him. Of course in the end she does go with him. #@!#!#@! Sigh. Then, while I love any and every Zeki scene the ending of Zeki for the anime was painful. It was kind of lame having him say he still didn’t believe she was a vampire so then she had to prove it to him… erm… That wouldn’t have happened, I don’t think she would ever bite him because biting to them is almost like having sex. If it does happen I think the situation would have to be a lot more… sexual tension?? xD I’m also not happy with the way they ended it because it would be hard for them to make anymore… like with Fruits Basket, they just ruined a lot of things by assuming how certain characters are and killing off characters that are yet to die in the manga. X_X Oh well…

Nodame Cantabile Paris


This was so cute though it was very short lived. I enjoyed watching it though and it was nice to see them act more like a couple in this season. I’m always tempted to watch the drama for this series since this show is so cute and the drama looks just as cute. I wonder if the manga would be a boring read though?? I love classical music. <3

Hakushaku to Yousei


This series was a cute watch. I liked how the main guy character wasn’t exactly a prince… meaning he wasn’t super nice and was actually very close to being a bad guy as well. It made him a lot hotter for the typical blonde hair anime character. The girl was okay too, she wasn’t super annoying like a lot of main females characters are when they are surrounded by a lot of bishies. I also like Kelpie, he made me laugh. Okay, you got me. All the bishes were <3

Ongoing Manga

Most of you already know how my love for this series goes. I don’t know what possessed me to start reading the manga again. It may have just been boredom but it was a good thing I did because then I would have missed out on one of my favorite characters of all time, Ulquiorra! I just wish the events around him didn’t happen but I keep hoping that he might come back… just maybe. xD I’m wondering how the rest of the manga is going to go now. Or more like, what Orihime’s role in the manga is going to go. I like Uryuu so if she has more development I suppose it won’t be horrible though I will be a little sad if she doesn’t have any sort of reaction towards Ulquiorra’s passing. Something more than, aw, he is gone… moves on.. Ichigo!!! Blah. Haha. I still like Ichigo, thank god, so perhaps I can still continue this manga even though my favorite character is gone.  One thing I really dislike is how Yammy turned out to be strongest Espada. I was like wth, and it had to swallow up the moment with Ulquiorra and Orihime.

Nana
This one has been so sad lately, with Ren’s death and all. I haven’t been as addicted to this series as I was in the past but I’m always looking forward to the latest chapter still. I want to be able to see more of my Shin though. I’m curious has to how much longer this series is going to be though. I wonder how much more they can put in it…. I also wonder if the future chapters is the stuff closer to the end or if it will go even further into the future with time. Ah well, I don’t mind either way. Now, if only Takumi would die. Heh.

Vampire Knight
Jaw drop. Sobs. Throws a tantrum. I can’t believe the direction this series is going right now. In fact this could be the complete end of Zeki! Oh noes!! I really really really dislike Kaname. I don’t usually hate characters this much but he is just… ugggg! I tried so hard to like him too but it was this one line he said in the manga towards the begining that made it impossible. I don’t like how is is an incestious, mudering, egotistical, minipulative bastard. Wow. Okay, I feel a bit better. LOL. Anyway, I hope I can hold out with this series and finish it but my new goal for the series, if Zeki can’t happen, is for Yuuki and Kaname to die. Maybe even get killed by Zero and for Zero to have is happy ending… no perverted thoughts people. LOL. I still can’t help but get frustrated at the thought of all the Zeki scenes and conversations leading to no where just because she turns out to be a pure blood. In fact, his reason for not having her is completely gone. I just… I still just can’t see Zeki being completely over. The whole Kaname and Yuuki thing is just too much cheese and the romance between them is just blah. It’s like… almost like she is with him because she feels obligated to be with him after all he has done for her. But what annoyed me the most was how she so easily forgave him for killing so many people and for using Zero as a pawn in his little game. I’m like… wow, Yuuki forgave him for that one? The killing, yeah maybe, but for Zero?? Damn it Yuuki! You were suppose to be angry at him for using Zero once you found out. Plus, how can Yuuki be happy going back to being in hiding the way she was before she was turned into a human after living the life of freedom and her peace with being at the school with friends and family. Please don’t completely crush my hopes for this series Hino!

D.gray-man
I have sort of lost interest in this manga for the time being but I’m not going to drop it just yet. I still download the chapters but I haven’t gotten around to reading any of the most recent ones. I like Allen too much to completely drop this series but with all the Haitus’s happening with it I can’t find the willpower to care for it until it gets futhur along again.

Har har har. I haven’t been keeping up with this one ver good. It’s turned into one of those I love you but I can’t be with you kind of stories. NNOOO!!! Sigh, if it wasnt’ for the interesting political views and the other characters I might not continue with this story. For now, I kind of have reading it put on Haitus… At least until I feel I have more time to read more or, like D.gray-man, until it gets futhur along, if not finished.
