Stranger in my Room
// May 13th, 2009 // General, Rants
Gah, looks like I need to make an appointment with an Gynecologist. This is starting to be ridiculous. I’m not looking forward to dropping more money. Buh.
Has anyone ever had a strange feeling in their room before falling asleep or being woken up from it?
Sometimes I get the feeling that there is someone else in my room. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not talking about the monster under my bed or the boogie man in my closet kind of deal. I’m just saying, it feels like there is something else.
Most of the time I can roll over and ignore that feeling. It doesn’t usually creep me out just makes me think I’m going crazy. There are times when it happens that I think it is one of my family members grabbing something from my room but when I ask them they always look at me weird and tell me they haven’t been in my room.
However, there is the rare time when the feeling actually makes me scared. I don’t know if you would just call those panic attacks or what. Anyway, I will be laying with my face towards the wall and get that feeling that someone is leering over me. I know no one is there but it is like my body is frozen in place so I can’t turn around to prove that there is nothing there.
Now, I would just write these things off if it only happened once or twice, but the fact that it has happened a number of times just makes me wonder… WTH is in my room?!!
Those scary ones always happen when I’m already asleep. They wake me up and make it so I can’t move. I don’t know… it’s just weird and not normal. I never get this way when I sleep anywhere else.
The weirdest thing is I’m not afraid of my room or anything. In fact, I still sleep the best in my room. It is only those strange accurances that I don’t like.
Strangely, it isn’t just me. My sister doesn’t like to be in my room because she thinks it is creepy at night.
Shrugs.
Anyway, I just mention this because I had that feeling last night before I went to sleep. I just ignored it this time and went on to sleep. I just got to thinking about it this morning and decided that it’s just weird.

xD It kind of reminds me of the movie “Deja Vu” with Denzel Washington and Halle Berry (I think anyway). Lol. But, I hope it’s nothing serious. I could go into a rant of it being something potentially related to religious type of things, but I won’t. The movie was pretty neat though. =D
Wrong actress. xD It’s Paula Patton, not Halle Berry…
Oh hey! I like that movie <3
It may sound weird, but maybe it’s not your room? O_O;
Maybe you have this thing called Sleep Paralysis:

Iunno… ^^; Just thought it could be related because you say it happens when you’re asleep and then when woken up you can’t move and you feel scared as ifuvghsg… ^^;;
Yeah, I hope it’s not bad of me replying… ^^; I do really love this site! It’s so interesting! XD
Ohhh… that is interesting. It does explain the whole.. couldn’t move thing. I always thought it was just a panic attack. I guess in a way it kind of still is but if that is the cause then at least I know why it happens.
It’s not bad of you to reply at all! Thanks for making a comment. <3
Exactly! ^^/
This stuff can be very bad, and the only reason why I know this stuff is because I have had this myself for a very long time… ^^;
It’s not very known though, even with doctors… ^^;
I’m not sure if this is really what you have, and I hope not! ^^;
But it’s possible… ^^;
I’m glad it was okay for me to reply! XD;
And I hope this weird feeling in your room will easen soon… O_O/
~Oh, and I hope you don’t mind me putting a link to this site on my own? ^^; Because it is interesting and it was this site that got me to find the wordpress stuff~ XD ~
Hahaha, there aren’t many things that doctors know… which is why I’m still suffering with my chronic problems, but ah well. xD
I’m just glad that it doesn’t happen every night because then that would be a pain in the arse. lol
I don’t mind at all, if you like we can do a link exchange.
Yeah, I’m very surprised by this! XD;
I guess it’s easy for anyone to become a doctor these days… O_O;
If it would happen every night it’d be even more horrible… O_O; It’s good it doesn’t! (^_^)/
A link exchange? Ohh, cool! <XD
Well, my wordpress thing is on my Website link now, though, if it’s necessary I’ll write it out again? ^^/
I just added you to my links! ^^/
Haha, well I think it is just… if they aren’t specialists then they aren’t going to be able to pinpoint many things. It’s hard to try and get in to see a specialist though since they are few and far between and usually have many patients already.
I have added your link. XD
I remember having trouble sleeping in your room, back when it was still Vicky’s. I used to always have nightmares over there, and it would drive Aunt Debbie nuts
at least you’re moving soon. if it doesn’t get better in the new house, then you’ll know its you, not the room.
Yeah! I’m hoping the new house doesn’t give me the same creepy feeling. Hehe
I always wondered about that room. Glad it wasn’t just me. xD
