Hosting
I’m actually willing to help people out with providing free hosting on my domain. I decided to go ahead and do this because I plan to get an even bigger plan once the time comes to renew.
The hosting I’m providing will be sub domain hosting and domain hosting. Unfortunately, I don’t have a plan to be able to host huge websites. If you are looking for way more space and bandwidth for free you should try Tetsunosuke.com.
Guidelines
1. No illegal files such as mp3s, videos, and scanlation downloads.
2. All sites must be in good taste. I will not accept sites filled with porn or hate. When I talk about hate, I don’t mean you can’t express yourself like on a blog but I don’t want off the wall racist sites or anything else like that. Keep it respectful to all viewers, it’s just an opinion not the way it should be. As for porn, I’m talking about anything too graphic. Shounen-ai, Shoujo-ai, Yaoi, and Yuri are okay as long as you give fair warnings (if you have an art site). I just don’t want plain out hentai.
3. All sites must be in English, or at least have an English version. Sticky Caps will not be allowed. I’m not going to be picky with grammar or spelling, so if English isn’t your first language don’t worry about it.
4. You MUST have a link back to Panikku.com or Ochitsuki.net. You don’t have to put it on every page, but please make it clear who is hosting you on at least one page.
5. No money making is allowed without special permission. (google ads included)
6. You have to know FTP. I’m not going to teach you.
7. Decent web skills. I’m not talking about being wonderful at design or coding, but present yourself well. I don’t even care if you always use premades, just make sure you never steal and always give credit when it is due.
8. Please try to be active on your site. At least one update a month, unless you give warning ahead of time. I really just want to know that you are still alive and using the space I’m giving you. If you don’t make an update in a month and I haven’t spoken to you any, then I will send you an email to ask if you still want the site. If you don’t reply within a week it will be deleted, but I will be nice and save the information for a short while in case of problems.
What You Get
Subdomains
1. Anything from 20 mbs to 60 mbs. Exceptions are sometimes made for more.
2. One MYSQL Database at request only.
3. PHP Access
4. CGI-BIN
5. A choice to have your subdomain at you.panikku.com or you.ochitsuki.net. If you choose Ochitsuki you will most likely only get 30 mbs of space. That is because the plan that one is on is smaller in space and bandwidth.
