My name is Ashley but most people know me and call me by Ongaku on the web. Ongaku is actually a Japanese word meaning music. The reason that nick name was given to me was because, before I got into web design, my life was dedicated to music and singing. Even now, music is a big part of my life though web design and computers take up the other chunk.
I’m a graduate from Howard Jr. College, a small, but lovely community college, that has wonderful hands on classes. I graduated with an associates degree in Computer and Information Systems for Web Design and Management. I might go back to school sometime in the future to get my masters but I haven’t completely decided on that.
I currently work at a company as their web master. I just started this job so I’m slowly recreating the designs and content. Besides making website I also create ads, business cards, logos, and water bottle wraps. I guess I do just about anything I can that has to do with graphics or coding. I’m kept pretty busy in this job because of all the sites and dealing with customers at random, but it is a very good job that I plan to keep for a good amount of time
Making websites has been something I love to do since I was 13. My skills have grown so much over the time and, even now, I learn something new every day. My domain, Ochitsuki.net, is a good place to see all the sites that I create and work on as well as all the ones I use to own.
I come from a pretty small family, living in a home of just women. I love my family very much and I’m very close to my Mother, Sister, and Grandparents on my mothers side. Of course, like every other family, we have our fights and misunderstandings but they never last for long because we all known how much we really care for one another.
I love anime, manga, and manhwa if you couldn’t already tell. It takes another huge chunk of my life, and not to mention money, haha. I really got into anime because I was very sickly for a long time. It gave me something to do and opened many doors for me. I never would have gotten into web design or writing if it wasn’t for anime. And Yes, I am a fan girl, meaning I like Yaoi and Shounen-ai.
