Cosplay
As a little hobby I like to dress up as some of my favorite characters and then do a photo shoot. You might find it weird but for us it is really fun. Below you can look at some of our pictures taken during photo shoots and conventions.
All pictures are taken using a Nikon D40 and retouched some using photoshop and lightroom.
Our cosplay group usually consist of me, my sister (Laura) and our friend (Brittany). Every now and then we rope some other people in our shoots. However, it is just the three of us that like to attend anime convention in Texas. We have been to A-Kon and San Japan so far. If you recognize us don’t be afraid to say hello! xD

Sewing Projects
Yes, we don’t always sew our own cosplay. Most of the time we don’t in fact. The main reason is because of our lack of time. Another reason is because it isn’t much cheaper to sew your own and I’m not as good as other people. Still, from time to time I would like to take pride in my own work and actually sew something. Most of the time it will be simpler cosplay outfits though.

Cosplay Tips
Here are some useful tips (hopefully) that I have learned through my own experience in cosplay. Now, these may not be the best way because I’m not cosplay expert but maybe it will help you get an idea. Yo can find plenty of (probably better) tutorials on this stuff on DA and other cosplay sites but I will try to give the very basics of what I tend to do.
