Top Three OTP

The following are my top three OTP, meaning that they are the couples I’m most obsessed with at the moment. This does not mean they are the only ones I like to obsess over. This also does not mean that they are canon. If you dislike these pairings I really don’t care, please keep it to yourself. There are some huge spoilers in these so if you haven’t read them or watch them you might not want to see why I like them… then again if you are curious then go ahead! xD

Series: Durarara
Characters: Izaya Orihara and Masaomi Kida

Comments: Yes, this is boy love. The only other boy love couple I have been this obsessed over in the past would be Yuuri and Wolfram from Kyou Kara Maou. Now, in the actual story they are both very heterosexual so a lot of people might hate me for this. Then again, they probably hate me more for splitting up the two most popular BL couples and switching the partners to make them my favorite. The most popular pairings would probably be Izaya/Shizuo and Masaomi/Mikado, even though I do not dislike those pairings I wasn’t feeling the fandom for them. Then, when it became clear that Masaomi and Izaya have a history together I couldn’t help myself. It’s a very twisted relationship since Izaya uses Masaomi has a sacrafical pawn, yet calls him his precious little brother. I would say more but I don’t want to spoil it for the people who only watch the anime. I seriously need to learn how to read Japanese so I don’t have to wait for the translations of the Japanese light novels. Then I could actually buy them. xD

Characters: Ulquiorra Cifer and Orihime Inoue

Comments: I don’t care what Orhime and Ichigo fans say, this couple is so canon. It’s as canon as you can really get in a Shounen series that focuses more on battle. As soon as Ulquiorra came into the scene I couldn’t help but be attracted to him. Especially because he held an interest in Orihime. This is your typical sort of Beauty and the Beast pairing because Ulquiorra is an Arrancar, a monster that was once human but now eats souls, while Orihime is just a normal and cheerful girl, even though she has some powers. Of course, since they are enemies not a whole lot happens besides some exchanging of words. He kidnaps her from her friends and then tries to break her down with words, yet she shows how strong she is and impresses him. That is not something easy for Ulquiorra who doesn’t show much emotion and calls people trash. As their small amount of time comes to an end you can tell they both have a strong bond, even if it isn’t exactly love (though that is what I’m saying it is). Ulquiorra lusts for everything about Orihime and gains a heart because of her. When he dies and reaches out to her he is surprised to hear that she is not afraid of him (while crying) and reaching out to him in return.
Series: Vampire Knight

Comments: I’m still rooting hard for this pairing to end up together even though right now she is with Kaname, her brother (sorta but that is a long story and still ew). I just see way more chemistry between this couple than I do for Yuuki and Kaname. The sexual tension is very high too and they are both in so much agony over the fact that they think they can’t be together. It is true that both of them love each other though. You cant deny that since Zero has basically confessed that he loved her (even though now he says he will kill her) and Yuuki tells Kaname that she will never be quenched of her thirst because she loves Zero as well. I don’t really believe Zero can kill Yuuki though because he follows a lot more rules than you would think, plus he has met her twice since he has said that and hasn’t even come close to killing her. He looks more in pain over the fact that he wants to drink her blood and take her into his arms instead of refusing her and saying harsh things. Yuuki looks the same when she meets him, wanting to embrace him again but having to act cold towards him. It’s enough to make you want to rip out your hair! Out of my top OTP this one has me the most stressed because of all the drama and the fact that they still have a chance to end up together.
