Spring List 2010 & Others

A list of all the anime I will try and watch for the spring of 2010 (new and old), as well as what I’m still reading and watching from the previous times.  After a long break of not watching anything I’ve been on lock down with trying to complete or catch up on many anime and manga titles. Here is what I’ve been up to-

Series I Will Continue

Durarara!! (Anime)

I’m still in love with this show. I even got curious enough to read a timeline on the actual novels. A lot of shit happens! I’m curious to know just how far the anime is planning to go with it. Now that the first season is over I’m sure they are about to get into more of the crazy stuff, especially about the gangs. It was interesting hearing Izaya speaking to Simon in Russian. I forget the reason so it makes me wonder what they were talking about. I don’t hate Seiji and Namie as much as I did at first but I just can’t pair Namie with Izaya… no freaking way. I would rather Izaya be all alone than pair him with her. I’m not usually someone who picks a yaoi pairing over a het but in this case- I would rather Izaya be with Shizuo or, more to my taste, Kida or Mikado. Anyway, I’m really curious to see how this goes and how the anime will wrap it up. They did an excellent job with Baccano so I have high hopes.

Quick Anime and Manga Catch Up!

Hum, so I have finally decided to try and read and watch certain anime and manga… mainly those really long Shounen titles. I’m probably going to die trying to keep up. It’s all that I can do to try and stay with Bleach.

So, here is my list of things I’m reading and watching.

Gintama – Watching, made it past episode 5! Wish someone had told me sooner not to watch the hour long special though. I almost didn’t continue it because of that.

Zombie Loan – Reading and I might watch the anime. I watched the first episode so far and thought I should continue reading the manga before finishing the anime… I’m not sure if I will like the anime as much.

D.Gray-man – OMG I finally caught up to the manga! I was 3 volumes behind. I was being such a bad D.Gray-man fan! I really did enjoy the recent chapters. A lot is going on I’m starting to sort of like Kanda now. (This is probably my favorite Shounen title)

Vampire Knight – (I know it’s not a Shounen but it’s my top Shoujo right now) The recent chapter was filled with so much sadness. The ending of it left with a huge cliffy though. I can’t wait for April’s issues even more now. I’m glad it is finally picking up because I was starting to lose all hope in the series.

Bleach – I’m doing my best keeping up with this series. I stopped downloaded it after v41 though. I, at least, try to read the chapters every week on onemanga or something. I have my ZZZzzz with the recent chapters so far but I’m not going to drop it. I feel so horrible because I really dislike a lot of the Shinigami so I really don’t care if Aizen wins or loses. LOL Perhaps that is why I’m getting bored.

Kateikyoshi Hitman Reborn – I have yet to get past the first volume. LOL I’m going to actually attempt to read this for real now. I’m tired of all my friends talking about it and me going… errrrr, wut, where, when, who?. LOL

Soul Eater – Finally got around to watching it again. I hated it the first time I started it but now I kind of like it. I will probably finish the anime sometime around April… If I still like it after that I may just pick up the manga since I heard the ending of the anime was bad.

Fairy Tail – No personal opinion about this one yet. I haven’t even started this one yet on anything… can’t decide if I should watch it first or read it… hummers. Anyway, this is on my list because a friend of mine is so obsessed with it right now.

Spring 2009

I’m way behind on this. In fact, it wouldn’t have taken this long if I wasn’t such an idiot. You see, I was deleting drafts that I didn’t want and I accidentally deleted this one. I was so annoyed at myself but I kept cool. xD

I don’t feel as excited about anime titles this season. I don’t know if it is because I have burn out or if the titles just don’t interest me in the least. I will do my best to try and give everyone that seems halfway decent to my interest, a try but I won’t be surprised if I only end up watching one or two of them.

BTW, this post is going to be like my winter one except I will go ahead and add the manga I’m reading as well. The manga won’t be as long because I’m just going to do the ones that are still on going and hold a big part of my fandom.
