Shampoo!

// May 18th, 2010 // No Comments » // Informative

OMG it’s not an anime post! Shocker!

Anyway, everyone uses shampoo. What is your favorite one to use and why?

Mine would have to be Infusium 23 (repair)ologie

It is the only Shampoo I have used on my thick hair that doesn’t create a lot of build up, yet protects it from all the heat products I use. Infusium 23 is my favorite kind so I will use any of the different ones, such as (volume)ologie and (frizz)ologie, but I think (repair)ologie works the best for my hair type. I keep thinking to myself that I should try to (colour)ologi because I have dye in my hair but, eh, whatever. XD

Now, I’m really picky with my hair and I have tried a lot of different shampoos. I think it is amazing that I have found one that I have stuck with for all this time. The only bad thing about this kind of shampoo is that it seems a lot of other people like it too because every time I go to buy it at WalMart it is low in stock! Wah!

I will tell you some of the shampoos I have used and absolutely hated as well.

Dove Shampoo - Smells really nice but doesn’t really do a damn thing for you hair, it even creates build up if you have thicker hair. I think if you like dove you should stick to the body soap.

Garnier Fructis - Sniff, yummy, smells divine. To bad it works like crap on my hair. I used it for a while because they didn’t have my kind at the store but my hair got really nasty and the shampoo didn’t want to wash out all the way. I have to say though, this shampoo works nicely on my wigs. XD

Herbal Essences – Why is this rated as the most popular shampoo? Out of all of the different kinds I have found that this one is one of the crappiest kinds. DX

Pantene Pro-v - I used this kind even though it cost too much and my hair just hated it.  My hair dresser even told me to stay far away from this kind from now on. My hair was so slimy after using it. I had to use a lot of heavy duty build-up removers to get it all out. Ug!

I’ll give you a bit of a hint, if it is over commercialized it probably sucks ass. If you are looking for a really good shampoo for your hair type, ask a professional what kind they used on your hair when you get your hair cut and washed. They are always happy to share with you their personal favorites.
